Phillips Find Gold Project
The Phillips Find Gold Project is located 45km north-northwest of Coolgardie, Western Australia.
The Project covers over 10km of strike of prospective greenstone stratigraphy which includes the Phillips Find Mining Centre (PFMC) where open-pit mining has produced 310,500t @ 3.3g/t Au for approximately 33,000 ounces of gold from three deposits; Bacchus Gift, Newhaven and Newminster.
Barra’s recent work has been aimed at unlocking the structural complexities of the area to discover new deposits including new detailed geological mapping and auger geochemical sampling.
The recent interpretation of the new mapping data identified an interplay of thrust faults, folds and thick units of favourable dolerite within the Truth Prospect area, about 3km northwest of the Phillips Find Mining Centre (PFMC). The new target area is about 6km long by 2km wide (Figure 1) and has been elevate to the highest priority structural target at Phillips Find. Over 35,000m of aircore drilling has been planned to test this area.

The new auger geochemical sampling program proved to be highly successful with both gold and gold pathfinder element anomalism (Figure 2) showing remarkable correlation with the new mapping and structural interpretation.
