projects overview...

Whilst the past twelve months have been challenging for the Company, highlights include:

  • the realisation of the Mt Thirsty Cobalt-Nickel-Manganese Oxide Deposit as a potential world class cobalt producer;
  • the identification of primary nickel sulphide mineralisation beneath Mt Thirsty which may lead to a significant nickel sulphide discovery and the potential source to the shallow Cobalt-Nickel-Manganese Oxide Deposit;
  • at Burbanks, the recommencement of gold mining under a new tribute mining and profit share agreement with Mulgabbie Mining Pty Ltd (“Mulgabbie”); and
  • at Phillips Find, development of the Newminster gold deposit as a shallow open pit to provide the Company with a second short to medium term cash flow opportunity.

  Mt Thirsty
The Mt Thirsty Project has the potential to emerge as the world’s fourth largest cobalt supplier with capacity to deliver 3,700 tonnes of cobalt, 10,300 tonnes of nickel and 27,000 tonnes of manganese per annum during the first 3 years of production.
  Phillips Find
Newminster Gold Deposit hosts a JORC Indicated Resource of 84,111 tonnes at 4.62 grams per tonne gold for 12,500 ounces and JORC Inferred Resource of 32,265 tonnes at 2.50 grams per tonne for 2,600 ounces.
  Riverina
Commenced a comprehensive review of all historic nickel exploration data to identify additional quality exploration targets for testing.
